Assessment results

A very solid 68%. It’s exactly the same as my EYV result, however I’m resisting the temptation to view this as a lack of progress as they are two different courses. I do find myself wondering, once again, if I am on the best pathway for me – if the Fine Arts degree had a photography stream I would be there in a heartbeat. I need to have faith I think that the photography stream can accommodate me and the way I use photography. In the meantime I am enjoying this result – I have wanted to do the Context & Narrative course for some time now and it feels as if I have done the course, and myself, justice.

Congratulations Kate, well done, always a great relief to have a line drawn with a good result.

You are right not to view the same result as a lack of progress because each course is very different and the assessors comments recognise the progress you have made. Onwards and upwards, I cant wait to see what you come up with next.

What wonderful feedback Kate you must be thrilled. I have loved following your experiments and the way your work has developed (no pun intended) across this module. Your creativity has inspired me to think more outside the box, and I have discovered that I enjoy that aspect to photography.
